Letter To The Editor

Sooooooooooooooooooo,  at what point do we finally say enough is enough.  What does it take to light a fire under our asses and actually try to be a part of a solution rather than merely a "complainer"?  Everyone has their limits and not everyone's reaction is going to be the same to a similar incident.  However, I feel it is more important to have that reaction (as long as its not to violent!) and then do something about the problem.  I know that when I was in the RCMP I would always try to convince victims to make complaints, to lay charges and to try and resolve the problem rather than stick their head in the sand and hope it would not re-appear.  I guess it took this last incident on the lake involving a houseboat (again!) that finally turned the torch up high enough to get off my ass and do something.  I hope that those that read this and are also boaters and encounter these idiots out there report their actions to the police and if possible lay charges.  You never know, it can be a member of your family that could be injured or killed by one of these morons out there, lets try and resolve the problem before something as tragic as that happens.  I've posted the letter I dropped off at the local newspaper and an article will be appearing in there, hopefully it helps someone make that decision to step up to the plate!      (Next Page)
